About Me.

Welcome! I am a currently a PhD candidate in the Gottdenker Lab at the University of Georgia, studying disease ecology through the Odum School of Ecology in the NSF-funded Interdisciplinary Disease Ecology Across Scales program.
My dissertation research broadly focuses on exploring the impacts of human and environmental stressors on animal gut bacteria and disease transmission. I will be looking for postdoctoral fellowships to start 2022 with a focus in wildlife disease ecology and/or microbial ecology.
In addition to research, I'm also very passionate about environmental science K-12 outreach. I strive to help make environmental science education more equitable and accessible to Black and Latinx students and families that are from underserved communities.
